Visit from Legatees

Recently Legacy Australia Legatees, Jo-Anne Peace, Rose Swadling OAM and Bob Holmes visited Emerald.

During the visit, Jo-Anne gave a presentation to Emerald RSL Sub-Branch members on the role of Legacy Australia and how our sub-branch may be able to assist them in providing services to dependents of ex- service people who have passed away.

Jo-Anne also presented Emerald RSL Sub-Branch with a plaque with the Legacy Ode on, which will be mounted beneath the eternal flame in the Emerald Bowls club.

Emerald RSL Sub-Branch maintains close ties with Legacy Australia, in that we make regular donations, thanks to the generosity of the local community who assist with our fund -raising activities.

Emerald RSL Sub-Branch is often the first point of contact for recently bereaved families of ex-service personnel and can provide details to allow Legacy to follow up with any assistance that they can.
